Born and raised in upstate New York, Naomi (Nae) recognized her love for the arts at an early age. She found herself always sketching something, spontaneously painting her bedroom walls, writing stories/plays & always doodling on any surface, including her clothes. 

"Art is not just a form of expression, it is literally what makes me, ME. I was created to create." 

Her art embodies the expressive gratitude of the simple and ordinary things in life that radiant joy and love. Her bold lines and choice of objects/persona captivate her viewers with each brushstroke and cotton canvas. First starting out as a traditional paint and canvas artist to then pivoting her art style to digital illustrations and designs to now embracing both have made her works vibrate authentically with a combination of minimalism, big colors and simple shapes. 

Nae feels greatly connected to the nature that surrounds her - - soft green grass, warm sun, light breeze, clouds dancing in the sky - - which largely influence her work on the canvas, digitally, in her books and ethical fashion.    

"I used to always get frustrated and annoyed when someone asked me what kind of art I made... How am I supposed to explain to someone who I am as an artist when I love too many things? I wasn't made to fit into one box, never have. There are days when all I do is paint, then there are days when all I do is write, or sew or just doodle and sketch. This is me. I don't fit inside a box, I don't color inside the lines either... thankfully art has no rules or else I'd be breaking them."  

From winning 1st place in her Senior Main Street Gallery Exhibit to winning 1st place again a few years later in her College Art Gallery & Fashion Show to now spending her time sharing her passions with the world by continuing to create art... Nae hopes to add light and joy into her clients homes/spaces one artwork at a time.
